We are here to treat urgent, non-life threatening veterinary medical illnesses in a timely manner.
Since animal emergency hospitals focus on life-threatening emergencies, they may have extensive wait times with no guarantee you will be seen soon. At Urgent VET Care, we guarantee your pet will be seen by a Veterinarian the day of your scheduled arrival time.
Did you know that many medical conditions for pets cost significantly less if diagnosed and treated early, rather than waiting?
Most sick patients do not require extensive, costly hospitalization services. At Urgent VET Care, outpatient treatment or short-term in-hospital therapy can be provided to get your pet back on the path to wellness!
We are a small, privately owned and operated business. Therefore, we have fewer administrative costs which directly helps our pet patients and their families.
To keep our costs lower for you, we do not offer hospitalization services after 9pm. Patients that need continued care may be referred to the 24-hour hospital of your choice. We will arrange this for you to ensure a smooth transition in the care of your pet.
Urgent VET Care does not offer preventative services such as:
*Your primary care veterinarian is the best resource for these services.
Why did Urgent VET Care add booked arrival times?
Due to the dynamic nature of Urgent VET Care we have moved to arrival time slots to reduce our customers frustrations of waiting to be seen just like in all human urgent care clinics. No arrival time, please call and see if we can see your pet today.
Why do waitlist slots have times?
This is to reduce additional work needed to be seen. You will be fully entered into the patient portal and when you can be seen we just move you from waitlist to clinical exam flow. The time slot does not indicate a time to come into the clinic. Please wait until we call you.
What time should I arrive so my pet can be seen?
Before 7PM. We are a reservation and walk-in clinic but please call to let us know you are on your way if there is not a reservation made to ensure you can be seen.
Will you send my pets records to my primary care veterinarian?
Yes! We will electronically submit all of the records from your visit to your primary care veterinarian by the end of that day, including your pet's physical exam, laboratory results, diagnostic images, treatment plan, and a copy of your discharge instructions
What payment options do you offer?
We accept the following payments: cash, VISA, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, CareCredit, and ScratchPay. We can not accept payment by check.
Do you offer payment plans?
We accept CareCredit and ScratchPay services, which provides extended payment options. You can apply ahead of time, if preferred, at carecredit.com and scratchpay.com. We do not offer payment plans outside of these services.
When is payment due?
Payment is due in full, at the time of service.
