Why Urgent VET Care?

Convenient Treatment Today

Conditions We See and Treat

Convenient Treatment Today

This cat is sick and needs urgent veterinary medical care to feel better. ER vet care today.

At UVC, we treat URGENT, non-life threatening illnesses which is different than an emergency room whose focus is on life-threatening emergencies. At UVC, your scheduled urgent arrival time guarantees your pet will be evaluated by a veterinarian today.

Most of our diagnostic results return within hours. RAPID test results allows our team to efficiently provide gold standard medical recommendations regarding your pets medical needs. We then develop and discuss medical plan options for your pet including an estimate of costs. Medications may be administered on-site and/or sent home directly from our on-site pharmacy. You will be provided written discharge instructions including, follow-up recommendations with your RDVM, so you can refer back to them later.

We focus on meeting your pet's urgent care needs with CONVENIENCE to you. We understand having a sick loved one is stressful. Therefore, we offer convenient no-charge patient drop-off services. There is no charge for us safely housing (food/water/walks/TLC) your pet with us so you can resume your day with less worry. We will contact you throughout the visit to discuss each step of your pet's care. We kindly request all clients return before 8:30 PM to complete the patient discharge process.

Lower Total Costs

Conditions We See and Treat

Convenient Treatment Today

Cost effective ER pet care today

Did you know that many medical conditions for pets cost significantly less if diagnosed and treated early?

Also, most sick patients do not require extensive, costly hospitalization services. At Urgent VET Care, we provide both outpatient and/or  same-day hospitalization services to get your pet back on the path to wellness!

If your pet is found to have a more severe, life-threatening condition, the UVC team is equipped to respond rapidly in the same manner as an emergency room. However, since we do not offer overnight hospitalization, transfer to a 24-hour facility for additional care may be recommended. If this occurs, we  will discuss your various options so you can make informed decisions.

We are the only small, privately owned and operated urgent care business in the region. Therefore, we have fewer administrative costs which directly helps our pet patients and their families.

FAQ's

Additional Information

Why did Urgent VET Care add booked arrival times?

Due to the dynamic nature of Urgent VET Care we have moved to arrival time slots to reduce our customers frustrations of waiting to be seen just like in all human urgent care clinics. No arrival time, please call and see if we can see your pet today.

Why do waitlist slots have times?

This is to reduce additional work needed to be seen. You will be fully entered into the patient portal and when you can be seen we just move you from waitlist to clinical exam flow. The time slot does not indicate a time to come into the clinic. Please wait until we call you.

What time should I arrive so my pet can be seen?

Before 7PM. We are a reservation and walk-in clinic but please call to let us know you are on your way if there is not a reservation made to ensure you can be seen.

Will you send my pets records to my primary care veterinarian?

Yes!  We will electronically submit all of the records from your visit to your primary care veterinarian by the end of that day, including your pet's physical exam, laboratory results, diagnostic images, treatment plan, and a copy of your discharge instructions

What payment options do you offer?

We accept the following payments: cash, VISA, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, CareCredit, and ScratchPay. We can not accept payment by check.

Do you offer payment plans?

We accept CareCredit and ScratchPay services, which provides extended payment options. You can apply ahead of time, if preferred, at carecredit.com and scratchpay.com.  We do not offer payment plans outside of these services.

When is payment due?

Payment is due in full, at the time of service.

We are here for your pets urgent and emergency veterinary care needs. We love pets!
